Desert trip from Marrakech to Sahara 7 days

We begin our journey by crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. You’ll stop for panoramic views and visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After lunch, we’ll continue to Ouarzazate, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional riad.

After breakfast, we’ll visit Kasbah Amridil in the Skoura Oasis. You’ll then enjoy a beautiful drive through the fragrant Rose Valley. In the afternoon, we head into the winding Dades Gorge where you’ll relax in a charming guesthouse surrounded by nature.

We start the day with a visit to the towering Todgha Gorge. You’ll walk through its dramatic canyon before we continue toward Erfoud and Merzouga. In the evening, you’ll check into a desert hotel near the Erg Chebbi dunes for a peaceful overnight stay.

Today, we’ll explore the Sahara with a 4×4 excursion. You’ll meet nomadic families, visit fossil sites, and stop in Khamlia village to enjoy live Gnawa music. In the afternoon, you can relax at your hotel or choose an optional camel trek with an overnight stay in a desert camp.

After breakfast, we leave the desert behind and travel north through the lush Ziz Valley. You’ll pass through palm groves and Berber villages before we arrive in Midelt. You’ll enjoy dinner and overnight in a cozy mountain hotel.

We continue our journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains. You’ll stop in the cedar forest near Azrou, where you may spot wild monkeys. Then we’ll visit Ifrane, known for its European-style charm, before arriving in Fes for the night.

On the final day, we’ll explore the Fes Medina with a licensed guide. You’ll discover historic landmarks including Al Quaraouiyine University, colorful souks, tanneries, and artisan workshops. It’s the perfect way to end your Moroccan desert adventure.
