4-Day desert trip from Fes to Marrakech departure at 8:00 am.
We begin our adventure by leaving Fes and heading into the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine architecture and clean streets. Next, we pass through Azrou’s cedar forest, home to curious Barbary macaques. Enjoy the scenic drive through mountain landscapes and Berber villages. By the afternoon, we reach Midelt, a peaceful town nestled between the Middle and High Atlas ranges. It’s the perfect place to rest and enjoy a quiet evening in a comfortable mountain hotel before our desert journey begins.

After breakfast, we continue our Morocco desert trip through the dramatic Ziz Gorge and descend into the lush Ziz Valley. Palm groves, ksours, and oasis towns line the route. We drive through Erfoud, known for fossil workshops and date plantations, before reaching Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara. In the late afternoon, you’ll enjoy a camel ride through the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. The sunset paints the sky as you head to a luxury desert camp. Enjoy traditional Berber music, a hearty dinner, and sleep in a private tent under a sky full of stars—an unforgettable Sahara experience.

On the 3rd day of our desert tour, you might want to wake up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes before leaving Merzouga. After breakfast, we pass through Erfoud and journey toward the Todgha Gorge, one of Morocco’s most dramatic canyons. Towering limestone cliffs reach up to 300 meters high, perfect for a short walk and photos. We continue through picturesque Berber villages and green valleys, heading toward the Dades Valley. Here, you’ll stay in a beautiful guesthouse surrounded by rock formations and ancient kasbahs. Enjoy a traditional dinner and a peaceful night in this quiet and scenic part of Morocco.

Our final day leads us along the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs,” passing fortified villages and stunning landscapes. In Ouarzazate, often called the Hollywood of Africa, we explore film studios and nearby kasbahs. Aftter that, we continue to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its clay architecture and movie appearances. After exploring the ksar’s winding alleys, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. The road offers spectacular views before we descend into the vibrant red city of Marrakech, where your unforgettable 4 days Morocco desert itinerary ends.
