A 4-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech offers an unforgettable journey through Morocco’s most iconic landscapes: the Middle Atlas Mountains, Ziz Valley, Merzouga Sahara dunes, Todra Gorges, Dades Valley, and Ait Ben Haddou. You’ll enjoy camel trekking, desert camping, and visits to traditional Berber villages and historical sites.
We begin your journey early from Fes, passing through the Middle Atlas Mountains with a stop in Ifrane,
known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Continue through the cedar forests of Azrou and the palm-filled Ziz Valley.
By late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the Sahara.
Start the day with a sunrise over the dunes, followed by breakfast. Then explore the Sahara by 4×4.
After breakfast, leave Merzouga and head west toward the Todra Gorge, then through the Dades Valley and Valley of Roses.
On the final day, visit Ouarzazate and the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou. Then cross the High Atlas Mountains
via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass before arriving in Marrakech.
